The hill and the bay
Down at the water there is a wide sandy beach and a surf break that draws surfers in season. Up the hill the air is cooler, the views are long, and on a clear day Trinidad's Northern Range shows on the horizon across the sea.
It is a quiet, residential corner of the island. Store Bay and Pigeon Point are about 10 minutes' drive away, the airport about 15 and the Mount Irvine Golf Course about 5. Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise are about 5 minutes from each other, and Plantation View is next door to Eagles' Base.
Three villas, three ways to do Mount Irvine
Eagles' Base Villa crowns the hillside: nine en-suite bedrooms, an infinity pool that merges with the Caribbean horizon, and a panoramic dining terrace. Rooms can be locked off for smaller groups, and for weddings and events it is booked as the Full Estate with its cottage next door, for up to 40 guests.
Surfers' Paradise Villa sits directly beside the surf break with easy sand access, six en-suite bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a private pool and jacuzzi, and sunset views from the pool deck. The villa sleeps up to 31, and a private apartment can be added for villa guests, subject to availability, bringing the capacity to 36.
Plantation View Villa sits about 500 feet above the sea, next door to Eagles' Base, with five en-suite bedrooms for up to 14 guests, a private pool and spa among tropical gardens, a games room with a pool table and a covered ocean-view dining terrace. It is a flat rate for the whole villa, and it can be taken together with Eagles' Base and its cottage for up to 54 guests.
Built for groups and celebrations
Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise suit destination weddings, surf retreats, corporate retreats, reunions and milestone birthdays, and Plantation View suits families and friends travelling together. At Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise a base rate covers the first group of guests, with a set price for each additional guest up to the villa's capacity, so you pay for the headcount you actually bring. All three take a minimum stay of two nights.

How many guests can stay in Mount Irvine?+
Eagles' Base Villa sleeps up to 36 guests, Surfers' Paradise Villa up to 31 and Plantation View Villa up to 14. Eagles' Base is booked as the Full Estate with its cottage for events, up to 40 guests, and with Plantation View next door for up to 54. The Surfers' Apartment, subject to availability, adds up to five guests to Surfers' Paradise for a total of 36.
Can I hold a wedding or event at a Mount Irvine villa?+
Yes. Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise are built for weddings, retreats and celebrations, and Eagles' Base events are booked as the Full Estate with its cottage. Plantation View can be taken with Eagles' Base for a larger gathering. Please tell us about your plans when you enquire so we can confirm arrangements.
Is there a minimum stay?+
Yes. Eagles' Base Villa, Surfers' Paradise Villa and Plantation View Villa take a minimum stay of two nights.
How is the price worked out for a large group?+
The nightly rate includes a set number of guests: 12 at Eagles' Base and 14 at Surfers' Paradise. Each additional guest is a set price per night, up to 36 guests at Eagles' Base and 31 at Surfers' Paradise. Plantation View is a flat rate for the whole villa, with up to 14 guests.
