The beaches at Tobago's south-west tip
Pigeon Point Heritage Park is the island's postcard beach: white sand, calm shallow water and a thatched jetty that appears on half the pictures ever taken of Tobago. Store Bay, a little way along, is livelier, a public beach known for its crab and dumpling and local food stalls.
Boat trips to Buccoo Reef and the Nylon Pool, a waist-deep sandbar in the middle of the sea, run from this stretch of coast, so a morning on the water and an afternoon back at your own pool is an easy plan.
Where to stay for easy beach days
Our Bon Accord villas sit in the flat south-west of the island, close to the airport, with Pigeon Point, Store Bay and Buccoo all a short drive away. Our Mount Irvine villas look out over the Caribbean from the coast just along from there, about 10 minutes' drive from Store Bay and Pigeon Point and about 15 from the airport.

Do I need a car to reach the beaches?+
A car makes the island easier to enjoy, and we can arrange one at the airport or delivered to your villa. Ask us for taxi options if you would rather not drive.
Is the airport nearby?+
The A.N.R. Robinson International Airport is at Crown Point, at the same south-west tip of the island as Store Bay and Pigeon Point, a short drive from our villas.
