Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We keep them to a minimum: the site works fully without any optional cookies, and analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept on our cookie banner.
Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| st_currency | Essential (preference) | Remembers whether you view prices in US$ or TT$. | 1 year |
| sunsational_cookie_consent | Essential (stored in your browser) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. | Until you clear it |
| Offline cache | Essential (service worker) | Stores pages and photos you've viewed so the site loads faster and works without a signal. | Until replaced or cleared |
| sunsational_admin | Essential (staff only) | Keeps staff signed in to the booking system. Never set for guests. | Session |
| sunsational_visitor | Analytics (optional, stored in your browser) | A random ID, so we can see which villas visitors look at together and suggest others you may like. Only set if you click Accept; it holds nothing about who you are. | Until you clear it (views kept 1 year) |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics (optional) | Google Analytics: how visitors use the site. Only set if you click Accept. | Up to 2 years |
Cookie-free statistics
We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure visits and page speed without cookies and without identifying you.
Third-party embeds
Villa pages include a Google Map, and may include YouTube, Vimeo or 360° tour embeds. Those providers may set their own cookies when the embed loads, under their own policies.
Changing your choice
To change your analytics choice, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the cookie banner will ask again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. For more about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy, or email reservations@sunsationaltobago.com.
