About This Property
Plantation View is a modern hillside hideaway about 500 feet above the Caribbean at Mount Irvine. Large windows and vaulted ceilings frame the green hills and the coastline, and from the pool and the covered terrace the sea fills the horizon.
The villa has five en-suite bedrooms for up to 14 guests, a private pool and spa set among tropical gardens, a kitchen with an island and dining area, a games room with a pool table, and a covered ocean-view dining terrace. Access is gated, there is parking for three cars, and a welcome pack of fruit and flowers is waiting on arrival.
Plantation View sits next door to Eagles' Base, so it works on its own for a family or a group of friends, and it can be taken together with Eagles' Base Villa and its cottage when a wedding, reunion or retreat needs room for up to 54 guests.

01 · ArrivalA gated drive and a welcome on the table
Through the gate and up to the villa, with parking for three cars at the door. Inside, a welcome pack of fresh fruit and flowers is waiting on the kitchen island, and the rest of the villa opens out ahead of you.

A pool and spa above the sea
The pool and spa sit on the lawn below the balcony, with loungers set out along the edge and the Caribbean on the horizon. Palms frame the garden, the hills fall away toward the coast, and at about 500 feet the air is cooler and breezier than down at the beach.
03 · EveningDinner on the covered terrace
The covered terrace under its timber ceiling seats the whole group at one table, looking straight out to sea. The kitchen is fully equipped with an island and bar stools, so whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation.
04 · NightFive bedrooms, each with its own bathroom
Every one of the five bedrooms is air-conditioned with a private en-suite. Some have king beds and balcony doors, others have bunk beds for children and younger guests, so a group of fourteen can sleep comfortably. If the evening has not ended, the games room has a pool table.

House Rules
- No smoking inside the villa.
- Pets are not permitted unless approved by management in writing before arrival.
- Parking is available for up to 3 cars.
Good to Know
- Check-in & check-out
- Times vary by property and are confirmed before arrival. Early check-in is TT$400 before 12pm or TT$200 after; late check-out is TT$200 before 2pm or TT$400 after, subject to availability.
- Deposit & balance
- A 50% deposit within 72 hours of confirmation secures your dates. The balance is due 21 days before arrival; stays booked within 21 days are paid in full.
- Damage deposit
- Equal to one night's rate for your chosen configuration, refunded within five working days of check-out after inspection.
- Cancellations
- Bookings are non-refundable, but you can rebook the same accommodation (or sometimes another property) within six months at no extra charge.
- Arrival
- Directions and gate access are sent once your booking is confirmed; call our team or housekeeper on arrival and we'll meet you in.
- Payment
- By bank transfer to our TT$ or US$ Scotiabank accounts or our Republic Bank TT$ account. Nothing is charged on this website.
Location
Mount Irvine, on Tobago's south-west coast
Mount Irvine rises above one of Tobago's best-loved bays on the island's south-west coast. Down at the water there is a wide sandy beach and a surf break that draws surfers in season, while up the hill the air is cooler, the views are long, and on a clear day Trinidad's Northern Range shows on the horizon. It is a quiet, residential corner of the island with the beaches, restaurants and airport all within a short drive. The drive times below are approximate.
- Mount Irvine Bay. The beach and surf break just below the hill, with sand for swimming and waves for surfers in season. Steps from Surfers' Paradise, and about 8 minutes' drive from the hilltop villas.
- Mount Irvine Golf Course. About 5 minutes' drive. Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise are also about 5 minutes from each other.
- Pigeon Point Heritage Park. Tobago's postcard beach, with its thatched jetty and calm, shallow water. About 10 minutes' drive.
- Store Bay. A lively public beach famous for its crab and dumpling and local food stalls. About 10 minutes' drive.
- Buccoo Reef & the Nylon Pool. Glass-bottom boat trips to the reef and a waist-deep sandbar in the middle of the sea.
- Sunday School, Buccoo. The island's Sunday-night street party with steelpan, food and music.
- A.N.R. Robinson International Airport. About 15 minutes' drive, so arrival day starts at the villa rather than on the road.
