Eagles' Base crowns the hillside at Mount Irvine: a nine-bedroom estate where an infinity pool merges with the Caribbean horizon. On clear days Trinidad's Northern Range is visible across the sea, and the privacy of the hilltop makes every stay feel like an exclusive retreat.
The villa sleeps up to 36 guests across nine bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom. Rooms can be locked off for smaller groups, with pricing adjusted to match, so it works as well for a long weekend with close friends as it does for a milestone celebration. Maximum occupancy includes pull-out beds, bunk beds and sofa beds; the most comfortable stay is at standard bed capacity.
For weddings, events and large group stays, Eagles' Base is booked as the Full Estate, combined with Eagles' Base Cottage next door for up to 40 guests. Plantation View Villa sits just steps away, creating a private compound for up to 54 guests when both hilltop properties are taken together.

Eagles' Base sits high on the hill at Mount Irvine, and it is at its best as the light drops: the open-sided living space lit up warm and gold, and the pool glowing blue below it. Bags in, shoes off, and the holiday has started.
02 · AfternoonAn infinity pool that meets the sky
The pool edge simply stops and the Caribbean carries on. Float on a lounger at the rim, watch the green hills fall away toward the coast, and on a clear day pick out the Northern Range of Trinidad across the water.

The panoramic outdoor dining terrace is set up for groups, with the pool behind it and the open-plan living area beside it. A signature hammock hangs over the pool for anyone who would rather not move, and the covered porch has wicker seating for after dinner.

Each of the nine bedrooms has a private en-suite, from the four-poster master with its mosquito netting to bedrooms with bunk beds for larger groups. Bring six rooms or all nine; rooms can be locked off when the group is smaller.

Each additional guest is US$50 per night, up to 36 guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights.
Prices shown in US$ at 1 USD = TT$7; bookings are invoiced in TT$. Nightly prices can vary by date: choose a configuration to see each night's price on the booking calendar. Any current promotion is applied automatically in your quote. The base rate includes the first 12 guests and 6 bedrooms. Each additional guest is charged per night, up to 36 guests across 9 bedrooms, and extra bedrooms open as the group grows. Rooms can be locked off for smaller groups at an adjusted rate. Weddings, events and large group stays are booked as the Full Estate with Eagles' Base Cottage (up to 40 guests), or as the Grand Estate with Plantation View Villa (up to 54 guests). Where an option is not listed above, ask us for a quote. Maximum occupancy includes pull-out beds, bunk beds and sofa beds, and the most comfortable stay is at standard bed capacity. Two-night minimum.
House Rules
- No smoking inside the villa.
- Pets are not permitted unless approved by management in writing before arrival.
- Events, weddings and large group stays are booked as the Full Estate with Eagles' Base Cottage (up to 40 guests). Please tell us about your event when you enquire.
- The maximum of 36 guests includes pull-out beds, bunk beds and sofa beds. The most comfortable stay is at standard bed capacity.
Good to Know
- Check-in & check-out
- Times vary by property and are confirmed before arrival. Early check-in is TT$400 before 12pm or TT$200 after; late check-out is TT$200 before 2pm or TT$400 after, subject to availability.
- Deposit & balance
- A 50% deposit within 72 hours of confirmation secures your dates. The balance is due 21 days before arrival; stays booked within 21 days are paid in full.
- Damage deposit
- Equal to one night's rate for your chosen configuration, refunded within five working days of check-out after inspection.
- Cancellations
- Bookings are non-refundable, but you can rebook the same accommodation (or sometimes another property) within six months at no extra charge.
- Arrival
- Directions and gate access are sent once your booking is confirmed; call our team or housekeeper on arrival and we'll meet you in.
- Payment
- By bank transfer to our TT$ or US$ Scotiabank accounts or our Republic Bank TT$ account. Nothing is charged on this website.
Location
Mount Irvine, on Tobago's south-west coast
Mount Irvine rises above one of Tobago's best-loved bays on the island's south-west coast. Down at the water there is a wide sandy beach and a surf break that draws surfers in season, while up the hill the air is cooler, the views are long, and on a clear day Trinidad's Northern Range shows on the horizon. It is a quiet, residential corner of the island with the beaches, restaurants and airport all within a short drive. The drive times below are approximate.
- Mount Irvine Bay. The beach and surf break just below the hill, with sand for swimming and waves for surfers in season. Steps from Surfers' Paradise, and about 8 minutes' drive from the hilltop villas.
- Mount Irvine Golf Course. About 5 minutes' drive. Eagles' Base and Surfers' Paradise are also about 5 minutes from each other.
- Pigeon Point Heritage Park. Tobago's postcard beach, with its thatched jetty and calm, shallow water. About 10 minutes' drive.
- Store Bay. A lively public beach famous for its crab and dumpling and local food stalls. About 10 minutes' drive.
- Buccoo Reef & the Nylon Pool. Glass-bottom boat trips to the reef and a waist-deep sandbar in the middle of the sea.
- Sunday School, Buccoo. The island's Sunday-night street party with steelpan, food and music.
- A.N.R. Robinson International Airport. About 15 minutes' drive, so arrival day starts at the villa rather than on the road.
